  • You may need to work with your host on that and see if they can help you look at the Apache or PHP error logs. It looks like they may have something improperly configured on your server…

    Hi,

I’m having the same issues as the OP and contacted my host, who has asked if the developer has an idea of the issue to narrow down the search of the error logs, as they are quite large?

Looking to go Pro to add this to client sites, but would like to see it working successfully on my own site beforehand.

    Many thanks.

    Hey Dirtypixel,,

Since 500 are sometimes difficult to trace and isolate the underlying problem. The best solution might be to give your host a temporary account on your wp-admin where they can perform the scan and then monitor the logs actively for any errors or issues. If they can’t help you then feel free to submit a ticket and I’ll see if there is anything I can pin point for you…

    Thanks~

We were experiencing the same issue. We fixed by upgrading our servers to a newer version of PHP. In our case, we were running PHP 5.3.29. We upgraded to PHP 5.5.35. This resolved the Internal Server Error message when running a scan.
