Installed plugin. Ran wizard. Got a 500 internal server error. Removed plugin. Still got 500 internal server error.

    Latest plugin.
    Latest WordPress.
    PHP 5.6.

What EXACTLY does this plugin change? Surely removing the plugin should fix the issue?! Any advise of how to fix.

    Has the issue been solved?
“what exactly does the plugin change”:
Everything it adds ‘should’ be removed if uninstalled properly.
It adds re-write rules to htaccess
It adds a cache folder under wp-content
It adds a php file under mu-plugins
and 2 database entries labeled swift

Not sure how to “uninstall properly” when cannot access website eh

Forgot to check the htaccess – I took the all the swift stuff out of htaccess and restored it how it was, 500 error was solved
