This is my first time installing WP.

The installation was successful, but I can′t login:

    “Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    My error log:

    Hi esmi…

The blog seems to work fine but I can′t access my dashboard… that’s the problem (It says 500 Internal Server Error). Username and password are correct but I still can’t log in…

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks…

Try manually resetting your plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the Default theme (WordPress 1.5 – 2.9.2) or the Twenty Ten theme (WordPress 3.0 and higher) to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can sometimes interfere with the admin panel).

    Problem solved…
I have changed my PHP Configuration from “Default” to “PHP4″… I do not understand what really happened… but it works.

    (PHP5 configuration did not work)
