• Most of my blogs are giving me the :

    “500 – Internal server error.

There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.”

I can’t see them or access them from no browser
I can’t login or do anything, just to log into ftp and see the files.
    I am using GoDaddy hosting.
Why is that? What can I do?

  • Try:

    – renaming your current theme via FTP.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    Hi,

UN addition to the response of “esmi”, check with these options too:

    – upgrade your wordpress to the latest version
    – Remove all unwanted code from htaccess

    Thanks,

    Shane G.

    I tried :

    – renaming your current theme via FTP.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – deleting the current theme so wordpress will go back to the default theme.

    Still nothing.

I even contact my hosting provider and they say that there is no issue with the hosting account.

Check your file/folder permissions. Generally things should work with 755 permissions on your folders and 644 permissions on your files, but you might want to check with your host to be sure on that.

Also check if you have a .htaccess file and, if you do, try renaming it temporarily to test if that takes away the errors, if it does, you can look into the code in it afterwards.

Can’t change the permissions and don’t have .htaccess file.

    But Thanks

The .htaccess file is a hidden file, so make sure you have viewing hidden files enabled when you look for it. Try putting in a test index.html page and see if that loads up. Whatever is causing the 500 error, your host ought to be able to give you what is wrong, or at least give you an idea of what it might be. If you have access to check any error logs, check those.
