I faced some issues with my WP site. So I just disabled all the plugins and contact to my Host. A temporary domain was used to check the issue by enabling plugins one by one. When I enable the W3 total cache. the below error pop-ups up.

“W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove …XXXX”

The above error was written twice. Here XXXX is a location. In the first line of error, the location was pointing to the advanced-cache.php file. In the second line of error, it was pointing to the db.php file.

At that time, I was unable to access my original domain login or temporary. So I received a temporary link from WordPress to enter recovery mode and disable w3 total cache.

After that, I get back my site. But, even I enable all plugins, my site was broken (No effect of Plugins like elementor).

However, somehow I managed to delete all the files of W3 Total Cache from Cpanel and my site is working fine.

Now, I again tried to install the w3 total cache. Right after activation. My site is again broken means it is looking as no plugin is active. After one refresh (F5) an error shows “Internal Server Error 500” appears.

When I disable w3 total cache. The site is fine again. Please help me to resolve the issues. Otherwise, I have to go to another alternative.

    Hello @akashmughal21

I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to assist you with this.
Can you please check the error. log and share the .htaccess file so we can check this?
I can see that you are also using Cloudflare. Is Cloudflare enabled via the W3 Total Cache extension?
    Thank you!

Thanks for Your Feedback. I just figured out the issue was with both the Cloudflare and W3 Total Cache.

Cloudflare was causing the issue of keep on showing the cached broken version of my site. While the W3 total cache database caching was returning Internal Server Error 500.

I worked with my hosting team and restore the backup. Now both the Cloudflare and W3 Total Cache are working fine.

Yes, I am using a W3 extension for Cloudflare.
