    Hello,
I just updated the Custom Sidebar and I cannot access my dashboard. I get an internal server error 500.
Can you assist us urgently, please?

    Kind regards,
    TKC

  • Hello TKC,

I’m sorry to hear that Custom Sidebars caused this.
If you are sure that our plugin is problem here use your FTP account or file manager in cPanel and go to wp-content/plugins – find there customsidebars directory and rename it.
This will disable plugin instantly and you will be able to login to your dashboard.

500 server error usually means that there are memory limits – try increasing them https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/increase-memory-limit/ and then see if you can enable again Custom Sidebars.

    kind regards,
    Kasia
