500: Internal Error on Activation

    Caldera Forms Version: 1.6.1
    Wordpress Version 4.9.5
    php Version: 5.6 (I started with 5.4, but updated to 5.6 when troubleshooting)

    ## Does Your Issue Persist When You Disable All Other Plugins and Switch To The Default Theme?

    Yes.

    ## What Is The Unexpected Behaviour?

    When I click “Activate” after installing the plugin, I’m instantly redirected to a 500: Internal Error. The whole site goes down and shows this error. Only by deleting the plugin folder through my host’s file manager can I bring the site back up.

    I can’t figure out why this is happening, since it seems to work well for everyone else. The most frustrating thing is that it continues to happen when all other plugins are disabled.
