• Hey guys,

I’m not a tech-savvy person, and I have struggled with this issues the whole day. Hope someone can help me out.

I bought a domain from GoDaddy and hosted it with Plesk. I then installed WordPress. However, every time I tried to install a plug-in, it ran 2-3 minutes and returned a 500 internal server error. (The plugin still got installed after I refresh the page, though.)

I tried to find answers on the web but fail. I have tried reset web hosting and reinstalled WordPress, but it still happens. I even deleted all plugins, including Akismet and Hello Dolly, and still can’t solve this problem.

I also feel the speed in the Admin Panel is slow…

Why would this happen? And how should I do?

Thanks everyone for reading my question!

Please check the error logs on your server for a more specific error message and see why it’s failing. If you need help locating them, ask your hosting provider to help you with that.
