500 error with MarsEdit / RPC API

  • I have been blogging on WordPress for a few months now and decided to try using MarsEdit on my Mac (OS X.4.X). I can’t seem to get it set up right, every time I try to post I get a 500 internal server error response.

    I’m using https://____/wordpress/xmlrpc.php, and blog ID = 1.

    None of the fixes on these forums or on MarsEdit forums seem to address this issue – is there a setting I need to change in WP to make this work right?

    Anyone have any tips?
