500 Error, Stopping On Long Reviews

    We started getting this error message on multiple sites:

    An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 170 of the file
    /wp-content/plugins/wp-reviews-plugin-for-google/trustindex-plugin.class.php.
    Error message: Uncaught Exception: DB instert failed: WordPress
    database error: Processing the value for the following field failed:
    reply. The supplied value may be too long or contains invalid data. in
    /wp-content/plugins/wp-reviews-plugin-for-google/trustindex-plugin.class.php:170

    It happens when we download new reviews and seems to happen when there is a review that is long / has lots of text. It doesn’t appear to be getting truncated to fit. The download stops, so if it is the third review it gets to, it errors and only shows two reviews.

    Hi Jim,

    We tested it, and the plugin worked with the provided sources.
    Could you please try resetting the plugin in the ‘Advanced’ menu by clicking the “Re-Create plugin” button? After that, try reconnecting it.

    If this doesn’t resolve the issue, we’d be happy to take a closer look. In that case, we would need access to your site.
