500 error on series pages

  • Recently I have noticed that the plugin turns 500 error on posts that are part of any series, shifting the page to the right and throwing sidebar out with the message ‘The site is experiencing technical difficulties’.
    This happens only on the posts that are using this plugin, and periodically they open successfully, but most of the time with an error (the look of the error depends on the browser used).
    I’m not sure if it’s caused by incompatibility with the newest wordpress versions or php.

  • Thanks for reporting this. If you have access to your php error logs, is there any additional information you can obtain from those? Usually there’s expanded information available in the logs that helps with troubleshooting issues like this.

    Thank you for your quick response.
    I have checked the error log but it doesn’t seem to have logged any errors pertaining to the pages that are using the plugin.
