    Have tracked down this error to a weird combo. It happens only when I use Highwind theme and Anti Spambee plugin together with Woocommerce. If I deactivate either the theme or the anti spam plugin, the error goes away. Tested both on live site and localhost and the same error perists. I am not sure where is the fault. Just wanted to notify here.

    Highwind 2.1.4 solved the issue.
