    Hello,

    I’m having an issue with the latest version. It has worked fine so far, but since updating, I’m getting a 500 error on the homepage only. I know it is Autoptimize because as soon as I deactivate, the page comes back. It’s very strange – I can visit any other page by typing in the URL manually, but the front page is completely inaccessible. The main issue is that it only happens on our live sites – I have the latest version on our production sites and there’s no problem – so I can’t show you the error without bringing down the site, either. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Not sure what you mean, as there has been no newest version, really, AO 1.9.4 has been out for months?

    Anyway, classic troubleshooting applies (as per the FAQ);
    * try with only CSS, JS (or HTML) optimization to identify what specifically is causing the internal server error
    * one you know that, you could try which CSS- or JS-file is causing this issue by excluding files from optimization one by one
    * alternatively you can use the API tell AO not to kick in on the homepage (using autoptimize_filter_noptimize, cfr. example in autoptimize_helper.php_example or the filters to stop specifically for only CSS or JS)

    Hope this helps,
    frank
