500 error on admin login page

  • This is a completely new install using fantastico (I tried doing it manually and got the same result). I have cleared and now deleted the .htaccess file.
    But when I try to log in I get a 500 Internal Server Error.

  • You need to check with your host see if they can help as with new install there must a server problem

    oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I have already put it to them and they have come up with nothing so far.

    guess I’ll raise a ticket and see if they have anything. Any suggestions this end would be welcome though.

    I have the same problem and I need it fixed as soon as possible as I am going away and I need to post some posts before! So please try to help us anybody

    My hosting company has solved the problem by installing 3.1 instead of 3.1.1
