    I updated my client’s site at ncdd.org to WordPress 4.4.2 today and afterwards got a 500 error. This is what was in the error log:

    [04-Feb-2016 21:57:53 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_plugin_data() in **************/wp-content/plugins/participants-database/participants-database.php on line 3423

    [04-Feb-2016 21:58:29 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 50331648 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2048 bytes) in **************/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1774

    [04-Feb-2016 15:59:14 America/Chicago] PHP Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘************/wp-includes/load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear’) in **************/wp-settings.php on line 21

    We’ve disable the Participants Database plugin for now on this site. Any advice would be appreciated!

    Thank you!

    It looks like you’re running out of memory for some reason. The Participants Database error is happening because the WP core file it needs (/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php) couldn’t load.

    Thanks very much! The problem seems to have resolved itself.
