    I had to deactivate the plugin after the latest update as activating it generates a http 500 error. The prior version worked just fine. Our server is running php 7.0.30. Any ideas?

    I restored from a previous back up. Luckily it was before the update. We’ve reworked things and removed this plugin completely.

    @luisv

    Here’s what I did.

    1. Deactivate all your other plugin first.
    2. Then copy your old “/caldera-forms” folder back to the /plugin folder (to overwrite the present one).
    3. If your Admin page can be loaded, go to the dashboard of Caldera, and export all your forms one after one. (if the Admin page still fail, try even switching to the default Theme, or else nothing I can do)
    4. Then uninstall Caldera Form and reinstall the old version again.
    5. Activate all other plugins
    6. Import your saved form again

    Hi there,

    Thanks for using Caldera Forms. This is a known issue that is caused by a conflict that we think as to do with Divi and possibly other plugins or themes. I would recommend disabling other plugins and switching to the default theme and then doing the update for Caldera Forms, which I can promise you works fine by itself.

    For possible work-arounds for this issue see this comment on Github. If you have additional details not already provided by others there, you should leave a comment with relevant information.

    If you need more help, please open a support ticket at https://calderaforms.com/support

    Take care,

    I checked out the comment on github. I am using neither Divi nor Ultimate Members. I won’t have a functioning site if I disable all other plugins and switch to the default theme. The fact that Caldera Forms works fine by itself is lovely, but that does not make a whole website.

    I hoped for a more active response given the nature of this problem. Looks like it’s time to find another form plugin.
