    i have sometimes 500 error when i have activate the wordfence thanks a lot

    Hi @insecttrojan, thanks for contacting us.

    There is a chance that the “autoptimize_imgopt” page being referenced here is returning the 500 error because the WAF is stopping a script from running, possibly due to sourcing information from another domain. This can be a false-positive on cross-site scripting. I say false-positive under the assumption that the page is referencing a plugin or feature that you knowingly installed and wish to use.

    From the Wordfence Dashboard click on Manage WAF. Then you will see Basic Firewall Options > Web Application Firewall Status. Change the option to Learning Mode. Now try visiting the affected page again. This will help Wordfence learn that the background actions are normal and it will allow them in the future. After you have finished performing the actions, switch the WAF from Learning Mode back to Enabled and Protecting. Now test to see if these actions work correctly.
