500 Bad Connection error

Upgraded to WordPress v3.2.1 last night. Have been having 500 Bad Connection errors since. Noticed it this morning, not sure if it was going since the upgrade or not. Continuous problems where the service was working intermittently. Finally was able to get to the active wp-plugins area, and disabled a few plugins. After disabling quite a few of them, considered the wp-stats plugin with the remote connection (since the problem wasn’t with the server/domain per hosting company). Took me about 30 mins, but was able to disable the plugin, at which point the site has since returned to normal.

The only thing I can figure is that remote database connection is being either attacked or a conflict since 3.2.1 versus 3.2.

Hoping for a solution quickly, this plugin has become invaluable very quickly.
