I’ve used Jetpack for my wordpress backups for about 8 months. I have the lower level paid version. Everything rocked along good until I started getting periodic backup error messages saying JP could not reach the server. I went back and forth for a week between Bluehost and Jetpack. The problem was finally resolved (although I can’t say if it is temporary or permanent at this point. I will say my support experience with Jetpack was better than with Bluehost. Response time was faster and more helpful. 5 stars for the Happiness Engineers at JP.
