5.47 displays white page

    After updating this plugin to 5.47 two independet websites displayed a white sceen when calling the homepage via browser.
    Looks like it’s treating clients as bad bots?
    This happened not only for accessing from my client but also for others.
    Login via wp-admin is still possible. Deactivating the plugin solved the issue as a workaround.

    Thanks for the troubleshoot link but it didn’t help:
    a) WP 5.2.2
    b) Protection Level 0 of 10 – set all settings to No for testing
    c) Memory 68 MB of 160 MB used
    d) deactivated all other caching and security plugins, didn’t help
    e) same on firefox and chrome
    f) no 404 error, just blank page without any html
    g) nothing unusual on Site Health, worked before the plugin upgrade (just upgraded that single plugin)

    Here are more suggestions:
    Mark Test Mode in settings: Block all Bots included at Bad Bots Table?
    Check if your IP is not included in the bad Ips table.
    Enable notifications and look your inbox (and also the spam folder)
    Enable debug in wp-config.php (change debug from false to true) and look your front page.
    when you get a blank page, try to right-click the page and mark view page source.
    Try to remove the plugin and install the older version. (5.44)

    @sminozzi There is an issue between Stop Bad Bots Version 5.47 & NextGEN Gallery Version 3.2.4 (also using NextGEN Pro Version 2.6.12). However only Stop Bad Bots has been updated lately. Version 5.47 kills the the public pages. Version 5.45 kills not only the public pages but also the admin area. I have downgraded Stop Bad Bots to Version 5.44 and am waiting for fix.

    Hello I have been using your plugin successfully for a couple of years with no problems. Tremendous product! But I also had white screen of death with update 5.47. I still had access to admin panel as stated earlier by others. I deactivated all plugins and brought them back one at a time but still had no luck. I tried some of the fixes you mentioned earlier but still had no luck so I rolled back to 5.45 and all was well again.
    When you rolled out 5.48 last night, I updated and it worked like a charm. Great job. Shortly, I will donate to your plugin. Its saved us from many scrapers trying to steal our products. Thanks!!!
