Howdy @agizzie

From what I gather, the email account used to connect the store with WooCommerce.com has no active subscription under https://woocommerce.com/my-account/my-subscriptions/.

Feel free to go ahead and download it for free from this page. Once that is completed, it should also be available under WooCommerce > Extensions > My Subscriptions, at your store’s backend.

I’ll go ahead with cc’ing @broomfish & @mohanlon here, since you are also reporting the same issue.

I had also lodged a support ticket for this and recieved a reply which fixed it for me

“To confirm, you’re seeing a message saying that you need to resubscribe when you attempt to update your WooCommerce Payments gateway, is that correct??

If so, can you visit the My Subscriptions tab by going to WooCommerce > Extensions > My Subscriptions, then click the gray Update button at the top??“

I was then able to click the update button next to woocommerce payments and update the plugin from there

@anastas10s thanks for getting back to me so quickly over the holiday season, I appreciate the help. However, woocommerce payments has been running successfully on the site for a year now and alll updates since have been able to update with no problem up until the latest version.

Many thanks to @broomfish I looked into your solution and it worked – many thnaks fo ryour inout and suggestion. The gray udate button was not very clear to me at first – it didn’t look like a button! However, after pressing it it updated the plugin.
