5.1 Update Kills WordPress

    Just updated to 5.1 and now the site won’t load. Going in via recovery mode shows this:

    (!) This plugin failed to load properly and is paused during recovery mode.

    An error of type E_PARSE was caused in line 143 of the file /home/newonnet/public_html/reviews/wp-content/plugins/add-search-to-menu/includes/class-is-index-builder.php. Error message: syntax error, unexpected ‘::’ (T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM)

    I could not reproduce the issue on my website.
