4×4 in page source

  • Hi there,
    I’ve just set up a WordPress blog about four wheel driving. One of the most used terms to describe this topic is ‘4×4’ I’ve used 4×4 in my post titles but that term displays as (i’ve included dashes in it here as the html is being interpreted in the post here)”4-&-#-2-1-5-;-4″ in the page source when viewed.

    I’m using v2.2.1 of WordPress. I’ve heard of this problem before with a friend but can’t find the solution.

    I’m new to WP so you may need to dumb the answer down a bit for me ??

    My site is at yota4x4.com if you look at the page source you will see that occurences of 4×4 are shown in the page source as “4-&-#-2-1-5-;-4” (minus the dashes). Searching on this string gives you vastly different results than searching on 4×4.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    And what did you find searching for 4×4 here?
