Hi, I have installed and activated your plugin. I am using Divi Theme. They suggested to use your plugin for some popups that I need for my client site.

Apparently I should be able to see the 4th TAB called “POPUPS” when in Visual Editor.

But I cannot see it on my test site at all the 4th TAB. Why would that be please?

As the 4th TAB “POPUP” doesn’t show up I cannot click on “This is a Popup”.

Mine is NOT showing like this https://divimode.com/divi-popup

How can I fix this ? As I need it working for a client website. Are there settings somewhere in your plugin that I need to activate or is it just plug and play that the 4th tab appears?

Also can you confirm that your popup plugin will allow popup on HOVER also as an option?

    Thanks

    Kristin

It is NOT showing the 4th TAB on the Rows section or the Module section

    HI

The link you showed me answered the question straight away ..

The tab is only available for regular sections. If you do not see the Popup-Tab, you are not editing a regular section.

I was looking in the Row section .. So I have found it on the 4th Tab in the Regular section.

So my question now is if I have a ROW with 3 COLUMNS and ALL need to have POPUPS on a Button only .. how can this be done if I can ONLY go to the REGULAR SECTION to create the POPUP ? and that entire section becomes a popup?

I need a button to be a POPUP not the whole section? How can I achieve this, if I have 3 columns and a button in each column for “READ MORE” and therefore when click on those buttons (each show a POPUP with different text) …

How can I achieve this please ?

    Thanks

    Kristin

ALSO if I’m adding the content of the POPUPS in a complete section, then LINKING it to a button, wouldn’t it be very messy in backend admin of the page, because if you have 8 popups required for 8 different buttons, then you have a whole section for each popup with the relevant text, then you have all the content of that main page also in between, and I think this would become messy for people editing the page?

Is there another way to keep it tidy ?

    Thanks Kristin

    Hi @kristinubute,

Thank you for sharing the additional details. I am happy to assist you.

For your information, the features you requested (if I have a row with three columns and all need Popups on a button) are currently not possible using “Popups for Divi.”

The same can be implemented successfully using our “Divi Areas Pro” plugin, I have demonstrated the same in the video below.

    See here: https://share.getcloudapp.com/OAuolmPv

You can also check and compare the features supported by “Popups for Divi” and “Divi Areas Pro” here: https://divimode.com/divi-popup/#comparison

I am sure it won’t impact your site’s performance if the Popup is limited in number and has less content on it. However, I will reach out to the development team and confirm the same.

Just to let you know, in all the tests we’ve conducted on various websites, we’ve seen absolutely no performance impact at all.

I hope this information helps; please do not hesitate to ask any further questions. Thank you.
