Importing Blogger: 3rd Step, “OK” does nothing

  • Hey all,

    I’m working on importing from Blogger. I have all of the correctly formatted (I believe) archive .php files in my WordPress directory. Yet, when I hit “OK”, the page simply refreshes and nothing happens.

    I’ve tried changing permissions to 777 for those archive files, turning off on all extranenous blogger features like feeds, still nothing.

    Any suggestions? Thanks in advance everyone!

  • Try adding this at the very top of the import-blogger.php file:
    $action = 'step1';
    just after the first line which should be:
    <?php

    I had EXACTLY the same problem, I was actually pleased I had got it right with the import of the files into the wordpress directory, but like you clciking on the ‘simple’ bit OK never did anything…

    A BIG thank you to whoever it was suggested the above, worked first time….
