    Media library not working on all my 5 sites after updating to 4.5.2, which was an automatic update. Error uploading images, spinning circle when trying to view, portfolio on1 site with images also gets spinning circle.

    Disabled plugins, tried twenty sixteen theme, but still get no where with media uploads and media library.

    What’s weird is thumbnails view in column view, shows image after test upload (but get error message when uploading), and images don’t show in thumbnails view (spinning circle).
    Also get spinning circle when trying to insert media in posts or pages.

    Been searching for 1 week for solution to this problem, and clients are very angry (as am I) they can’t upload images to their posts/site.

    Don’t know what to do, very frustrating.

    thank you Andrew
    In WP-CONFIG I turned on;
    define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);
    I have these error messages:

    Warning: ini_set() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/bcnjal/public_html/wp-includes/load.php on line 292

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/bcnjal/public_html/wp-includes/load.php:292) in /home/bcnjal/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sprout-theme-options-panel/redux-framework/ReduxCore/core/newsflash.php on line 72

    can these be why I have the media library display and upload error message?
    I have tried to find a fix to all my WP sites for this problem for 2 wks now. My clients are very upset and I can;t find a solution to this problem on all the sites. I have WP 4.5.2 installed. thanks

    Ask your host to enable ini_set() in php.ini for your account.
