4.5.2 editing issues

    I am having many issues with the editor now that 4.5.2 has been automatically updated.
    1. i can write posts and pages, but many of the links/buttons on the editor work: I can’t create links, I can’t add media.
    2. the “text” tab does not work…clicking it does nothing.
    3. i am unable to change the “visibility” of a page or post.

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Sixteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Understandable, and it looks like kmessinger is helping you in your own thread. Please keep in mind that even though the symptoms are similar, the causes could be very different, which why we ask everyone to please keep to their own threads.

    that resolved it.
    i didn’t figure out which plugin was the culprit, but i got rid of all of the ones i wasn’t really using.
