• I understand a lot of things but this seems little excessive. An add-on shouldn’t be necessary for such basic functionality these days. I paid less for my theme and that was a one time fee. However, the free version of this plugin has many features and works really well.

@nidua42 – Sorry to hear that, but to be fair the extension your referring to offers a lot of advanced functionality that simply isn’t needed for most users. To each their own I guess, but to be fair we have to maintain and support 300k users, gotta charge somewhere for something, and since this is the only thing you seemed to need, where would we be able to make any money from you otherwise.

If we squeezed in every 1 feature that a user wanted for free there would be nothing left to run a sustainable software business on.

Last I want to point out we only added disable this popup on mobile or tablet to the free version due to Googles changes that forced sites to not use interstitials/popups on mobile or get penalized. As we didn’t want 1000 negative reviews for penalized site owners, we took a previously paid feature and moved it to free. Not by our choice and not simply because users wanted either.

Appreciate the feedback, though I think it is a little unfair to rate the plugin low purely because you didn’t like how we monetized the one feature you happened to need.

    Take care.

OK, I do agree that my rating was little harsh so I’m changing it to 4 stars as it is a good plugin overall.

@nidua42 – Much appreciated. And it is a fair criticism unless you consider how long it might take you to custom code solutions that a $45 purchase might provide. It could easily save you hours of coding or developer time. Not sure what your hourly rates would be but that adds up quickly. Ours is point and clicks ;).

Appreciate the fairness you have shown us. Reach our privately and I can point you in the direction of our existing promotions that might save you just enough to warrant it for your needs.
