WP auto-updated, and all the plugins disappeared, my plugins page gave me “plugin does not have a valid header”, now it just shows that I have none installed.

All the plugins are in the folder, I’ve tried to reset them in PHPMyAdmin, but the value was already “a:0:{}”. Also done the “plugins.hold” trick, still nothing. Looks like I’m not the only person having this issue, but so far I’ve not seen a working fix.

For anyone else with this issue:

Go to your FTP plugin folder, rename it to plugins.hold (Or whatever doesn’t matter, just something different).

    Make a new plugins folder.

    Install the plugins you want.

Copy your old folders from plugins.hold to plugins, over writing the ones already there.

    Activate the plugins in wp-admin/plugins.php.

I did this, it seemed to work.
