    Hello,

    Would like to ask.

Was experiencing a 429 issue on js files on the wp admin of one of our sites. The site has a staging environment and when I cloned the live to staging env, the 429 issue is not showing on staging. So I asked support from my hosting provider (wpengine),and they have fixed this one by killing the requests. They said also that those requests were coming from autoptimize plugin. Would like to ask why is that so and how to prevent this one from happening again? (As we have encountered this one many times)

    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I’m afraid I’m not sure what you mean with “429 issue”, but Autoptimize does not optimize JS/ CSS on the admin side. Can you share some more info, esp. the feedback from the WP Engine support?

Sorry what I meant is error 429 (too many requests), and they said that the some of the requests came from autoptimize, wp rocket and multilingual plugin (which I will be reaching out also). Is there a way to prevent this one?

But when on the backend Autoptimize does not optimize JS/ CSS. The only thing AO does on /wp-admin/ it adding adds but 2 JS-files; wp-content/plugins/autoptimize/classes/static/toolbar.js and wp-content/plugins/autoptimize/classes/external/php/persist-admin-notices-dismissal/dismiss-notice.js and I don’t see how those could cause 429 errors really jcmanlangit .. :-/
