4.2 has broken my homepage

Ugh, I just updated to 4.2.1 and now my site is gone… All that’s left is a 404. I can see everything from being the scenes in the dashboard, but my actual site isn’t avail;able online. Help please. Thank you.

Hi Shana, I’m just about to go to bed (I’m in London) but I can tell you that everyone here will want to see your website for some clue to the cause of your problem. What’s the URL?

And did you upgrade / change anything else at the same time?

pls i upgraded wp to 4.2.2 and this warning appear at the top of my homepage only

“Warning: substr() expects parameter 3 to be long, string given in /home/xxx/public_html/xxx/wp-content/themes/lifeline/framework/helpers/shortcodes.php on line 2575”

and dis is what i have in line 2574,2575,2576, 2577 of shortcodes.php

Just to throw in my 2c, we recently upgraded saffronscreen.com to 4.2.2 and the result was that the excerpt only worked on category archive pages. It didn’t work on individual pages or posts. Downgrading the plugin to 4.1.1 fixed the problem.
