4.1.beta: Download xx-slow: Mirrors?

Are all downloads from www.remarpro.com that slow for you?

yes, I just tried jetpack and bbpress from the plugins page and I tried WP4.1beta again: Everything loads with between 300 bytes/s and 2 KB/s.

I am situated in Germany.

Just for testing I downloaded Quicktime7 from apple.com and it loaded with 5 MB/s.

Well that;s … good (in the sense that it’s not an alpha/beta problem so I’ll move this in a second).

Can you run a tracetroute to www.remarpro.com and see if there are any hangups? I wonder if you’ve got a bad route.

I just tried again at a different time of day (4 am EST instead of 2 pm EST) and the download went swift with 700+ KB/s .

So yeah, something between you and here was down :/
