New user

  • Hi guys,

    maybe this is a silly question…

    I am just wondering if I have created a user and in turn this user created a site.

    My question is: can visitor registers under this User’s site and become a user of this User? or they can only register under the main site and become a user of the main site?

    Sorry guys, I am still finding my way through this multisite concept.

  • They sign up as a user of the entire network. they can then be added to a specific site on the network.

    I have another question. This is a very simple one (but consider I am new to wordpress, it is a big thing for me)

    I am using TwentyTen theme
    The title points to the “home” page which by default lists all the posts.

    How can I have a Home page on it’s own. I want to have the title points to another page, set up a Home link in the menu and have another link to list all the posts.

    One of the admins has to do it.

    Any means to have users do it themselves?

    eg: registering from a child blog would make you subscriber/author/default_role on this one blog… and not only subscriber to the main one.

    That would be the most intuitive to me!
