4152 Registered Users But Only 523 listed on Users Admin Page

  • As stated in the topic title, I am missing more than 3600 of my registered users when I open up the Users admin page. I have gone through all the troubleshooting steps I know of (disabling all plugins, default theme, updating everything, running maintenance procedure with database optimization, etc.) but nothing I do brings my users back. I have no idea how long this has been going on, but I first noticed it about a week ago.

    When I browse the database wp-users table I see all 4152 records, but nothing I do makes them all appear on the admin screen where I need them to perform account maintenance.

  • Hi, metp, I’m curious about how the wp_users table is configured given the fact that some database entries aren’t appearing in the admin dashboard.

    Are there rows with duplicate ID values in your website’s wp_users table?

    If so, then something may have been altered with the ID column and it may no longer AUTO_INCREMENT nor be the primary key.
