hi I am trying to bulk delete hundreds of empty image entries in media but get 414 error. Is this woocommerce problem or my server problem? I tried to whittle it down to 300 per page using screen options on top right corner but system keeps giving me near 1000 entries per page.

    pls advise thx.

  • Hey @ckwang ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

The 414 error typically indicates that the server is unable to handle the request due to the request URI being too long (the URLs being passed to the server are too big.)

This issue may not necessarily be solely related to WooCommerce, but rather a server configuration or limitation.

Here is a great article that provides steps on how to resolve this particular issue:

hi my host did mention is a server problem. Unfortunately that is the limit imposed so I could delete only small batches at a time.
