[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Compatibilty with WP 3.0?

  • Just upgraded to WP 3.0 and the only issue that I have is with CF7, issues to numerous to mention.

    I have tried disabling all plugins & changing to default theme, but nothing has helped.

    Is CF7 just not compatible with 3.0?

    has anyone made a form redirect after submitting with
    on_sent_ok: window.location = 'URL'

    I used that in 2.x but I think it’s causing the issue in 3.0

    Any thought?

    Hey Takayukister, the plugin dowloaded from the wp repository throws the following error upon install FYI

    Hello guys,

    I seems to be having a problem with CF7 in WP 3.0. The code to copy-paste is not showing up. I have the version of CF7 pointed by takayukister. The installation was successful but when I go to the settings page, no code shows up in the copy-paste field. I however, I tried using the usual CF7 code:

    [contact-form 1 "Contact form 1"]

    but I get a 404 error. Cf7 on my other 2.9.2 blog works fine. The site is https://www.socraticreview.com. Thank so much for your help.

    Been using CF7 on several websites – all at WP 2.x – works a treat.

    Upgraded one of my sites to WP3 and CF7 now no longer works.

    Issue – user fills in form, presses submit, email is sent through ok, but CF7 interface just shows spinning arrows and never completes for user to know it’s been processed ok.

    Just voted it as broken with WP3

    I’m sure a fix will be along soon; as I say – great plug-in.

    Broken for me as well, just spins after submission but I receive the email ok.

    Still waiting on news of a fix for this. I have the same problem on two different sites. Has anyone heard anything?

    Nice plugin, to bad the developer is not capable of supporting it with new versions on WP. Or for that matter, even commenting on support forums of “yes we are having issues but will be updating it soon”!

    I got exactly same error as reported by askjayson two months ago, trying to install latest version of CF7 2.3.1 in a WP installation v 3.0.1. Any suggestion?
