413 Request Entity Too Large /nginx/1.6.0 / bluehost

  • Well hello wordpress world,

    i bought a theme for wordpress on envato marketplaces , the problem is when I upload it, apparently the zip file is too large and it shows the error message 413 Request Entity Too Large and bellow: nginx/1.6.0 .

    I’m using blue host for wordpress.

    I hope you could help me with this because I could not found any information in any other blogs, and bluehost didn’t answer my mail.

  • Are you trying to upload this via the file manager, FTP, or through the WordPress dashboard?

    Hi voldemortensen, I used the wordpress dashboard

    Can you try uploading it through the file manager or with FTP? You’ll want to upload it to the /wp-content/themes/ folder and then unzip it there. Then when you log in to the dashboard, it will be in the themes section.
