4.1.1 = Can't add new post/page title visual editor not working properly

    Just upgraded to 4.1.1 and have a major problem with adding new posts/pages:

    1) I can’t add any title text (the field is not available – not grayed out, literally not there)

    2) The visual editor buttons are all over the place or simply missing.

    I have disabled all plugins – didn’t have any effect.

    I changed to a different theme – didn’t have any effect.

    Plus it is now running REALLY slowly too ??

    Any suggestions?!

    Hey Sean,

    The problem “seemed” to sort itself out!

    I’m wondering if it had anything to do with Jetpack though.

    I had disabled it as per my original message, and it had no obvious affect.

    But…

    When I re-enabled it, it wouldn’t connect to my host – there was a timeout error I think (can’t remember exactly) which I’d not had previously, before I disabled the plugin.

    Anyhow, I “fixed it” by following my host’s help page on disabling mod_security (https://www.webhostinghub.com/help/learn/website/website-help/disable-mod-security-via-modsec-manager) and after Jetpack had connected the original problem had rectified itself.

    It may just be co-incidence, or not. Not sure, but at least this gives you some place to look!
