Surfbreaks is a category.

You want to find all posts that are in the category Surfbreaks AND in a certain location (which is also a category).

So if you search for ‘Location’ within the category Surfbreaks, you’ll have the same result. Or search for multiple categories: location and Surfbreaks. But then that’s not actually a search, persey, but a listing.

I’d almost say you’d be better off with a different organization. Since location contains many sub-categories, which I’m presuming are the actual locations, make those TAGS instead.

Still. Try the search-everything plugin. It may have what you want, though not in that site’s format.
