405 method not allowed

    My blog version is 2.7.1

    I’m getting a 405 method not allowed when someone tries to leave a comment.
    Additionally, when I try to edit a theme in the theme editor it says this at the bottom where the submit button usually is.
    “You need to make this file writable before you can save your changes. See the Codex for more information.”

    I am on godaddy virtual dedicated servers
