When I try to update the product data I get a 405 error. When I create a new product it takes a long to to load and I have to refresh the tab and the product is there, however the product data doesn’t save. Product data such as “general, inventory and shipping” wont change.

I don’t get any errors from the front-end, only when updating in the dashboard.

Deactivating plugins through the plugin folder leads to a 403 error however there are no issues with deleting them through that folder.

I have site health plugin installed and have troubleshooted by changing to the default theme, deactivating all the plugins, reinstalling an older version of woocommerce and then new download of the current version. I have reverted to an older htaccess file and then back to the original.

    Site Health Status:
    1. There are no critical improvements found.
    2. One or more recommended modules are missing
PHP modules perform most of the tasks on the server that make your site run. Any
changes to these must be made by your server administrator.
The WordPress Hosting Team maintains a list of those modules, both recommended and
required, in the team handbook (opens in a new tab).
Warning The optional module, fileinfo, is not installed, or has been disabled.
Warning The optional module, imagick, is not installed, or has been disabled.
I have made any changes to points 1 and 2 above.

Nothing that I have tried has worked, if you have any ideas that would be great. Thank you, Will.

    Hi there ??

It seems to be a hosting restriction. Sometimes, the configuration might not be right for your server which is causing this error. Please try to contact the hosting provider. They will tell you where is the error and why this error is caused.

Also, have you checked the WooCommerce logs? If not, please share a copy of the fatal error log found under **WooCommerce > System Status > Logs** (if available)

    Cheers!

Thank you for your quick response. After 2 days of trying to resolve the issue, I logged in to work on it again and it works fine now. I have no idea what was the issue unless it was a bug on the host end and they fixed it.

Yes, it seems that a configuration on your hosting providing was causing that issue.

Thanks for letting us know! If you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
