• Hello all,

I am a wordpress beginner, but the start has been painless.
I have WordPress installed on a shared hosting server and it’s running fine so far.
As I noticed a 404 page template, I decided to check it out, but this somehow is not working for me.

Instead of WordPress’ (twentyten theme) 404 I get the 404 page of my IHP.
When I try to change the .htaccess file to point to 404.php, the following error is returned:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header() in <relative path to the subdomain>/wp-content/themes/twentyten/404.php on line 10

I’ve put the following into the .htaccess file:

    # BEGIN WordPress
    ErrorDocument 404 https://kuiperke.itisagift.eu/wp-content/themes/twentyten/404.php
    # END WordPress

What am I doing wrong? Is this not compatible with my IHP (I’ve got 4 domains on the same account)?

    Thanks in advance,
    Thorwald
