404 When Updating Code

  • When I go to update a code within Shortcoder I get a 404 page.

    This only happens with long pieces of code. Short pieces of code work fine.

    Please help.

    Hi,

    Thanks for using Shortcoder. The error you mentioned is not expected. Error 404 means the page is not found. This should not be seen.

    Can you please share a screenshot when the error is seen?

    Also, can you please go over your installed plugins list and see if there are any conflicting pluginswhich might cause this issue?

    I have disabled all plug ins except for Shortcoder and it still happens. I have also tried a new theme but again, it still happens.

    only happens with long code though. Shorter code works fine.

    Hi Ryan,

    Thanks for the video. This is strange. I have tested the plugin with huge content and there is no issue as such.

    My guess is, some validation logic is causing this issue. I can see the code is having full HTML like title, meta tags, etc.

    Can you please share the shortcode content you are trying? I’ll try the same on my side. You can use a site like https://pastebin.com/ and share the link.
