• Hello there!
I need help with your wishlist plugin.
Some time ago (like 2 weeks) was an update to this plugin but after update I started to have a problem with reaching the backend of wordpress (wp-admin). Everytime I’ve tried to reach any link of backend I get 404 page. So I’ve decided to delete this plugin for now, but maybe you will know what causes this problem and I could restore this plugin to use.
Now I can’t even activate it because when I only click “activate” I am not able to reach wp-admin again and I need to delete this plugin through FTP. Do you guys know why it’s happening? Please help me if you know, I really want to use this plugin but for now I can’t cause it is blocking me from using backend of my wordpress.
I’ll provide every information you need to help.

    Hello there,

    I hope you’re doing well ??

I checked it on our installation and I cannot reproduce your problem.

I tested the last version of our plugin with the last version of WordPress and WooCommerce and seems is working in the right way.

Maybe is a conflict with other plugin or your theme.

I suggest you to do the following:

Please, try to deactivate all plugins, leaving only WooCommerce and YITH WooCommerce Wishlist active, and see if the problem is solved. If so, try to activate them again, one by one, to see which one causes the issue.
If the problem isn’t caused by a plugin, try to activate the default theme Twenty Sixteen and see if you have the same issue.
Also, if you have customized some files in your theme, please try with a fresh installation without any customization.
Please try this solution and let us know what issue shows.

    Have a good day.

    Hi!,
I’m having the same problem, I tried what you′ve suggested,
I deactivated all other plugins and installed only YITH WooCommerce, It worked, but after installing it appears a message “YITH WooCommerce Wishlist is enabled but not effective. It requires WooCommerce in order to work.” and the same problem appeared once I installed WooCommerce… It looks like the problem is those two plugins working together…
Can you please help us with this? I need to start working with the custom theme that requires your plugin to function.

    Thank you!

    Hello there,

    I hope you’re doing well ??

Our YITH WooCommerce Wishlist requires WooCommerce in order to work, so is necessary WooCommerce in order to work with Wishlist.

If you disable all plugins leaving only WooCommerce and YITH WooCommerce Wishlist and it’s working fine, maybe there is a conflict with other plugin or your theme.

You need to debug it in order to find which plugin is causing this problem. If you cannot find it, maybe is the custom theme, in this case, I suggest you to try with a default WordPress theme like TwentySixteen in order to see if the problem is generated by the theme.

    I hope it helps you.

If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to contact us, we’ll be happy to help you.

I deactivated all plugins without woocommerce of course and still got 404 when trying to reach wp-admin.
My theme is Shop-elite (free), but on Storefront and TwentySixteen theme is the same (404), any ideas? ??

    Hello there,

Maybe there is a conflict or an issue is generated after you update the plugin.

I suggest you to enable debug log, adding

    define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );

Then you can see on debug_log.php which type of error is causing it.

you can see more information about debugging in WordPress in the following link

Please check it and let us know.

    Have a good day.
