404-port 80 closed-apache 2.2-Help Please :)
-
Hello,
I’m a total noob at all this so I apologize ahead of time.
I downloaded:
Filezilla
WP 3.4.1I believe I transferred the WP file to the site? I am able to login to phpmyadmin just fine, I have no idea what to do in there though. I am at the part in my setup guide that says:
“If WordPress files are placed in the root directory, e.g. visit: https://www.example.com/wp-admin/install.php”
When I go to that URL (with my domain in place of example.com), I just get the 404 Not Found page. It also says:
“Apache/2.2 Server at https://www.mydomain.com Port 80”
I think my install.php file path is:
https://www.mydomain.com/web/content/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php
I am not too sure what I am trying to do at this point and not sure what information to give y’all. I’ll update with any further info anyone might need.
Thanks for your time!
Oh yea, apparently I also did something with a mysql database, again, not too sure what I did with it.
