404 Pages won’t load over AMP

Hello and thanks for the fantastic plugin. The amp plugin works just fine, however, when we type a random url, the ?amp redirection doesn’t work hence the 404 page won’t load over AMP, loading the regular 404 page. Could you please assist me on how to fix that? Thanks in advance.
