404 page not showing up

    Hi,

    I installed this theme and can see the default page on activation.

    However on typing a wrong path I do not see a custom 404 page although I do see the 404.php under the themes folder.

    How do we configure the 404 or any other 4xx or 5xx status code error message page?

  • If you can post a link to your site, I will take a quick look to see if the 404 is there. But to configure the error page for specific error types, you will need to add custom coding for that. You also have the option of using a plugin for error pages if you need something more featured.
