404 page not showing

  • Hi

    I’ve noticed over the last couple of days no 404 page is showing when you hit a page on my site that doesn’t exist.

    I’ve made no changes to my themes 404 page and therefore can’t understand why this is happening?

    Any help?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
