404 page not found

  • Hi, everything worked fine, but since the last update to 2.0.25 I have issues with my User Profile page.
    I create a new page with the code [ultimatemember form_id=5550] which when I select “view page” redirect me to the Profile Page.

    My 404 ERROR appears when I set the profile page to the profile page in UM SETTINGS.

    I tried not setting the Profile page in UM Settings and only access the Page with the code throgh the menu, but then my problem is, that the edit profile button on the profile page does not work and the ERROR 404 appears again.

    Does anybody know why it does this? Or even better, how I can fix this?

    Hi @sabrina-schmitz,

    I see that you have a multilingual website, do you use WPML or any other multilingual plugin? Currently, Ultimate member only compatible with WPML. If you use WPML you have to specify your User page by turning on “This is a translation of UM profile page”. on the User pages for additional languages.

    Hello, I did have another plugin installed yes. It was the free version of Polylang. However, I have now purchased WPML and the problem of error 404 remains although I am being redirected at least to the profile now.
    I can not find, the user page for additional languages and therefore dont understand where i have to turn on “This is a translation of UM profile page”

    I have created a page which is called user profile, which I then assign to the profile option in Ultimate member.
    Help would be great. Thank you.

    2. Also, If enter the “Member” settings and enter the activation link should redirect to the user page, how do i set it to automatically detect the correct language.

    Example: I had someone register in german and they were redirected with their activation link to the english profile page instead of the german.
