• On all sites I have upgraded to 3.0, I started getting 404 pages on all my posts.

I had to turn off most of my firewall rules.

I can only use the two basic rules plus “listing of directory contents” and “advanced character string filter”.

Adding any other of the firewall rules starts throwing 404 errors.

Prior to 3.0, I could use all except the brute force option.

Using WordPress3.7.1 and Thesis 2.1 and no other plugins.

I have tried to reproduce this and I can’t.

Have you tried firstly going to the permalinks settings page in wordpress and saving these settings again.
Then follow this up by saving your firewall rules again.

Hello @woodpecker34, after trying what @wpsolutions suggest if your problem still occurs. Can you try the following.

    1) Deactivate all your plugins except this plugin and enable one by one to see if there are any issues.

    Kind regards

I was getting this with no other plugins activated.

What are you saying about permalinks? What would be the suggestion?

Hello @woodpecker34 what @wpsolutions is suggesting is to navigate to your permalink settings and re save your current settings. Sometimes a simple re save fixes the permalink issue if there is one.

Sounds crazy but looks as if it worked.

Just had one site with the 404, saved permalink and now working fine.

    Thx for the help

    You are most welcome ??

You are correct in your comment however something as simple as re saving the permalinks does actually works.

Thanks to @wpsolutions for providing the solutions.

    Kind regards
